Gertrude "Trudy" Marie Dudley

Trudy Marie Dudley, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully June 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Trudy was born January 28, 1924 in Monroe, Wisconsin. The fifth of eight children of Ernst & Johanna Untersee, the family moved to Tyler, Texas in 1945. In Tyler, she met and married her soul mate of 66 years, William C. (Pat) Dudley. In 1959, she and Pat moved to El Paso where “together” they opened their first law practice. Always a team in everything they did throughout their long life together, Trudy worked side-by-side as his firm’s office manager until their retirement. Trudy is preceded in death by her son Robert. She is survived by her husband, William C (Pat) Dudley, sons, Paul (Beverly) Dudley and Michael (Rebekah)Dudley; grandchildren; Patrick (Julie) Dudley, Keith (Allison) Dudley, Blair (Brian) Wittneben, Ryan & Woodson Dudley, Tyler & Hillary Dudley. Great Grandchildren; Cameron & Cole Dudley, Simone & Paul Dudley, & Lane Wittneben; Brother Paul (Linda) Untersee, sister, Joann (Raymond) Johnson, also numerous nieces & nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Michele Aboud, Nurse Patty Risner and Maggie Esparza with CIMA Hospice, Matrix Home Health and Dr. Vernoy Walker. Special caregivers, Genoveva Santellanes Villa, & Teresa Lopez. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Trudy can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Star Chapter.
