Gerald Donald Hess

Gerald D. Hess, also known as (Jerry) 71, Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend went home on February 17, 2016 to the kingdom of heaven. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Margie Hess; his sons, Gerald D. Hess Jr., wife Araceli Hess, Robert W. Hess, Woody Hess, Donald M. Hess, wife Dina Hess, three daughters Crystal L. Hess, Christina M. Guerrero and JoAnn Fair. Jerry has 12 beautiful grandchildren; and two siblings Martin Hess and Susan Kruger and many close friends. Jerry retired from the United States Army after serving 23 years. He was loved by many as he had a great sense of humor and loved life to the fullest and was contagious to all he came in contact with. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 am on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 1:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Jerry will be missed but never forgotten.
