Gerald Dean Geurin of El Paso, Texas passed away May 21, 2024 at the age of 89. He was born in Hermleigh, Texas, the son of Claude “Dude” and Eunice Geurin. Gerald met his wife, Ann, while both were working at SIC (Southwest Investment Company). They celebrated their marriage June 2, 1961.
Gerald graduated from Austin High School in 1953 and served in the United States Army. Gerald worked for Texaco Refinery for most of his career. He retired from Texaco in 1985 and was then a successful real estate and automobile entrepreneur.
Gerald is survived by his wife Ann of El Paso, Texas, sister Joanne Hall-Pavey of Ft Worth, Texas, daughters Cheryl and husband Charles Ginnings of El Paso, Texas, Laura and husband Erich Marusich of El Paso, Texas and son Chance and wife Jeanine of Holland, Michigan. Grandchildren Austin, Michael, Jordan, Kersti, Briana, Alyssa, and Sean, great grandchildren Sofia, Parker, Tate, Madison, Pablo, Mila, Merritt, Atiana, Olivia and Beau. Gerald was preceded in death by his brother Don Edward Geurin and son-in-law Pablo Salcido.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, June 3, 2024 at White Acres Chapel, building #100, 7304 Good Samaritan Ct. El Paso, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas.
