Georgette Jeanne Jezl

Georgette Jezl, beloved wife, mother and Teta, died peacefully October 8, 2009 surrounded by her loving family while visiting Baytown, Texas. Georgette, a fifty year resident of El Paso, was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church and their Altar Society. She was a devout follower of The Blessed Mother. She had been a teacher, Girl Scout leader, and community volunteer. She was an active member NAUS, Society of Military Widows, and AARP. She was preceded in death by her parents Antonin and Nabiha Reboisson, her husband Frank Jezl, grandson Joseph W. Rupert, brother Andre Reboisson. Georgette is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Rupert, Odette Bain and Judith Jezl, sons-in-law Craig Rupert and Bobby Bain and her grandchildren Cara Saldivar, Sultaneh Rupert, Andrew Rupert, Dustin Bain and Brook Bain. Georgette’s preference was for no flowers but rather a donation made in her memory to Our Lady of Lourdes c/o M. Francis Molina, Diacre, B P 95, 65103 Lourdes Cedex in France would be appreciated. Her devotion to God, Virgin Mary and to her family was unwavering and her joie de vie was infectious. Her light and laughter may be gone but her love and memories remain. Vigil/Rosary and Visitation from 6:30 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast at 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 14th at Blessed Sacrament Church at 9025 Diana Drive. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 11am.
