George A. Mcbain

April 23, 1928 — February 7, 2007

George A. McBain “Grandpa”, 78, was called home on February 7, 2007 to be with our Lord after a brave and long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, with his wife Helen of 55 years at his bedside. Our beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Daddy served his country with the U.S. Navy and was assigned to the USS Brinkley Bass. He retired from Civil Service after 36 years and enjoyed his days with his family at his ranch in Chaparral, playing golf, and eating chocolate ice cream. Daddy enjoyed life to the fullest, and always believed that Death is as beautiful as a child being born. Romans 8 verse 38: For I am convinced that nothing could ever separate us from his love. Death can’t and life can”t The Angel’s won’t and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep god”s love away. Our fears today, our worries tomorrow, or where we are-high above the sky, or on the deepest ocean, nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of god demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us. George is preceded in death by his daughter, Georgina McBain, parents Louis and Eva McBain. Brothers, Edward, Louis, Manny and Joe McBain. Sisters: Elsa Ontiveros and Eva Andrews. He is survived by his loving wife Helen McBain, Sons, George (Cindy), Luciano (Sofia), and Paul McBain.
