George S. Bradford

October 12, 1924 — July 30, 2007

George S. Bradford, 82, passed peacefully at home with his family on Monday July 30, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served two enlistments during WWII where he received the victory medal. He retired from East Texas Motor Freight after 32 years and was also a member of the Teamsters Union and a master of all trades. He loved animals and chewing his tobacco. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Marshal and Bertha Bradford; brother, Clyde Bradford; sister, Lavelle Bradford, daughter, Judy Crahen, and grandson, Brian Patrick Minor. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mrs. Thelma Estelle Bradford; son, Marshal Wayne Bradford; daughters, Mavis Wray and Josephine “Jo“ Wilson; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, Friday, August 3, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Crahen, Bob Casao, Scott Casao, Ryan Casao, Kane Casao, and Jose Vilca. Loving husband, father, grandfather and a very kind, giving person never asking for anything in return, he will be greatly missed. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
