Gary A. Swack

Gary A. Swack, 77, (SFC-Retired) born August 2, 1933 in Doyle, TN passed away on December 30, 2010 in El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Finley A. and Lucy (Swoape) Swack. He proudly served our Country for more then 20 years before retiring from the U.S. Army. He is a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He became a resident of El Paso in 1963 and after retiring he continued serving our community as a Homebuilder and Real Estate Broker. He was a member of the National and Local ACCOC of Builders, Mason Lodge # 1393 as well as Bordertown Sam Club and West Texas Military R.V. Club. He enjoyed R.V.’ing and fishing at his river camp. He married his loving wife, Dorothy on April 7, 1958 who survives him. He is also survived by his son and daughter in law, Michael and Tammy and their children, Courtney and Kelsey; and his son and daughter in law, Dale and Renee and their children, Sterling and Shanae all of Lubbock, TX; and brother, Phil Swack of McMinnville, TN. You will Always be in Our Hearts!Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:30 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Funeral Service at 12:30 pm. Committal Service to be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
