Passed away peacefully in the company of his family on December 30, 2024 at 6:36 PM.

Age 93, of Middletown, NY, born to Clarence E. and Alice E. (Francisco) Richmond on July 31, 1931 in Sarnia -ON, Canada. He leaves behind his wife of 71 years Yoshie Nanao Richmond, preceded by son Eric K. (Anne) Richmond, survived by son Mark K. Richmond and three grandchildren.

Fred (Rich) served thirty years in the US Army and was a retired Command Sergeant Major. He often enjoyed services with the Webb Horton Presbyterian congregation in Middletown. He was also a Master Freemason Brethren for over sixty years. Fred ventured across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, to name a few and will be remembered for fixing everything with his "can do" spirit. Whether travels abroad included his military career or retired RVing, he favored stops like Santa Nella, CA for Anderson's Split Pea Soup. He frequently escaped El Paso to enjoy summers in the Gila National Forest with family and friends at Burro Mountain Homestead. 'Always grateful for the gift of friendships, his broad list of affinities included auto's, RV's, baby back ribs, lobster dinners and Spam. Fred ultimately loved being a husband, father, grandfather, and his family.

Celebrate Fred's Life immediately following the committal service with his family and friends at; Robin Hood Park Clubhouse, 9716 Dyer Street, El Paso TX 79924.

The family asks "not" to wear black (comfortable attire).
