Fred Z. Puga

Fred Z. Puga, 86, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, surrounded by his beloved wife, Nettie, of 65 years, daughters, Nora Sue Aldaco and husband Manny of El Paso, Texas, Norma Lee Baca and husband, Lee of Los Lunas, New Mexico. Papa Fred was born August 20, 1925 in Big Spring, Texas to Manuel and Dora Zubiate Puga. He was the oldest of four children. He was a proud WWII veteran. Survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was a Godly man who lived life to the fullest. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Sunday, October 2, 2011 with a Rosary at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 8:45 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. with military honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina.
