Fred Leonard Holly Sr.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Henrietta L. Holly, his sister Shirley J. Mack, his daughter Vivian A. Jackson, his son Fred L. Holly Jr (Jennifer), his daughter Myra D. Holly-Dean (Richard), his daughter Marvella L. Holly-Porter (Charles), 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sallie Forney and 

Thedford (Thad) Hollie, his sister Selma I. Hollie, his sister Margaret L. (Lou) Hollie, his sister Lena O. (Tate) Hollie, his brother Johnny M. Hollie, and his granddaughter India J. Dean.

Fred served in the U.S. Army, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to both his loved ones and his country. He had a successful career in the U.S. Military. Fred's dedication extended to his faith, and he worshipped at Restoration Community Church, located at 11236 Montana Avenue.

In his free time, Fred enjoyed being an avid sports fan. He had a passion for watching and supporting various sports events.

A funeral service will be held on December 27, 2023, at Restoration Community Church. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at noon. The committal service will take place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes (Northeast) in El Paso, Texas. Fred Leonard Holly will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, sacrifice, and enduring impact will forever be remembered.
