Fred M. Encinas

Fred Madrid Encinas 91, was called home by the Lord on Monday, July 26, 2010. Born in Fabens, TX; raised in Jerome, Arizona. He was a lifelong resident of Southern California; retired to El Paso, TX. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He was a great Dad, grandfather, great-grandfather and a loving husband. He was a WWII veteran serving at Ft. Bliss in the 1st CAV later stationed in the Philippines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Almeraz Encinas. He is survived by daughters Beatriz Encinas, Aurora E. Lujan and sons Fred M. Encinas Jr (Lupe) and Daniel Encinas (Susan); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a Vigil at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Located at 8600 Winchester. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
