Fred O. Andree

Fred Andree Col (Ret) USAF born December 11, 1918 in Anderson, California. Fred served in the Army Air Corps between 1944-1945. He was recalled for the Korean Conflict in 1951. Fred was a navigator on B-24 and B-36 bombers and then became a radar bombardier on B-52’s from 1956-1969 for SAC in the US Air Force. He flew missions from England during WWII and missions in the Vietnam era. He retired from Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota in 1969 and moved to El Paso. He was a Master Mason with over 50 years. Preceded in death by his wife Barbara. Survived by his children, Richard Andree and wife Dana, Elizabeth, CO, Judith Sutton and husband Jesse of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Josh Andree of Scottsdale, AZ, Alicia Straight (Jerry) of Parker, CO, Candace Widman (Chris) of El Paso, Texas; great grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Katelyn, Haley, Kylie and Lilyanna. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, October 18, 2010 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
