On May 31, 2017, the Lord wrapped His loving arms around Frank C. Garcia and called him home after a long battle with cancer. Frank is survived by his sons Matthew and Patrick, his sisters Melissa Vasquez (Charlie Sr.) and Veronica Martinez (Mike), his nephews and nieces, his aunts and dear cousins. Frank lived his life to the fullest, especially his most cherished days as a re-founding father of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at UTEP. Despite his pain he was always in the spotlight making everyone laugh and fall in love with his charm. Although his time on earth was cut short, his wish for everyone was simple, “live like you were dying”. A special thanks goes out to Aaron Estrada and Nancy, Jesse, Rose Teran, Salubris, the staff at Envision Hospice and the Alcantar Foster Home, especially Maria, Luz, Amber and David. Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 9 a.m. with a Rosary and Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, officiated by Deacon Robert Diaz. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
