Francisco Ramirez

March 21, 1935 — February 18, 2021

Francisco Ramirez, 85, passed away on February 18, 2021. He was born in Carnegie, OK on March 21, 1935. He graduated from Carnegie High School in 1954. He is survived by his children, David (Irma) and Frances; three granddaughters, Britani Wing (Clinton), Samantha Ramirez, and Kaitlyn Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Walter S. Wing, and Rebecca M. Wing. He is survived by two sisters, Luz and Juanita. He is proceeded in death by his wife Raquel, and his parents Martin and Basilisa, and seven siblings, Marce, Ro, Mary, Ida, Jo, Polo and Estella. Francisco served our country for over 20 years in the U.S. Army, and over 20 years in Immigration and Naturalization Service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a devout Catholic and proud member of St. Joseph’s Church. We would like to thank William Beaumont Army Medical Center for the care and compassion they provided to Francisco and our family. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with Rosary at 2:00 PM, on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 PM, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Church, 3729 Hueco. Committal Service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
