Francisco "Frank" Palacios

Our Beloved Father, Frank Palacios of Camarillo, California passed away on March 26, 2010 in El Paso, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Born July 17, 1929 in El Paso, Texas to Aurelio Palacios and Santos Corral-Palacios. He attended Grammer school and graduated from Ysleta High School in El Paso, Texas. After high school he was a Greyhound bus lines driver, he also drove the trolley car in downtown El Paso in the early years. Later on he gained a fondness for the dairy industry working at the Hawkins dairy and the Prices dairy in El Paso, TX, as this would begin a long career and passion that would carry him to many places. He would continue up until his retirement working for Chase Brothers Dairy in Oxnard, California. Frank eventually settled in Camarillo, California in the late 1960’s to raise his family. Frank loved his garden and his roses. He has a green thumb and loved to work in the yard. He is survived by his son Frank X. Palacios of Camarillo, California, daughter; Angela Palacios-Santoyo (husband William Santoyo) of Ventura, California, and daughter; Monique C. Palacios of Anaheim Hills, California and grandsons; Nicholas Santoyo and Matthew Santoyo of Ventura, California. Siblings are Aurelio Palacios and Eduardo Palacios, Luisa Jimenez, Ignacia Rodriguez, Carmen Apodaca, and Evengelina Ingram. He is preceded in death by his parents; Aurelio and Santos-Corral Palacios, Ernesto Palacios, Francisco Palacios and sister; Concepcion Reta. He will forever live in our hearts and the memories will be forever cherished. A memorial service celebrating our Fathers life will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 1 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
