Francisco Licano Jr, 89, In His infinite wisdom and gentle grace, Almighty God reached down from Heaven and whispered so softly, "Come with me, my son, for it's time to go home" and so it was that Saturday, January 4, 2025, God closed the eyes of our beloved uncle. Francisco Licano Jr. was born on December 28, 1935, in El Paso, Texas where he worked for over 30 years for the United States Post Office. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson H.S. and upon his graduation enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. He was a warm, loving, and caring person who deeply loved all his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He had many cherished friends, golf, and fishing buddies who he viewed more like brothers. He leaves many fond memories for all who knew and loved him. His contagious laugh and joking nature will sorely be missed. He was one of Frank Sinatra's greatest fans and lived his life in accordance with Sinatra's words. And now, the end is near And so l face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way! Rest in peace our Beloved Uncle! 

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, January 20, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at St ignatius of Loyola Parish, 408 Park St . Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.
