Francisco Encinas

February 28, 1952 — December 30, 2008

Frank Encinas, 56 years, was born in El Paso on February 28, 1952 and passed away peacefully and went to be with Our Heavenly Father on December 30, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margie, step-son, Steven, mother-in-law, Lupe, and his children from Dallas, TX., Brian and wife, Melissa, Frank Encinas III, grandson, Alex and niece, Tina Marie Ambreit, baby Camile and spouse, Jeff, sister of El Paso, Christina Sanchez and spouse, Chuy. The family wishes to acknowledge his loved cousin, Tury and wife, Ruth, Charlie and Richard, childhood brothers, and “Sabor” brothers, Fermin, Paul, Tino, Tury, Danny, Hector, Rudy and Johnny. He was a Social Work graduate from UTEP. He retired from The TX Health and Human Services Commission/Children with Special Health Care Needs Program after 30 years of service. His lifetime passion was helping families with special needs children in the community. He was an active community member who was much loved, and his laughter and personality will be missed by all who knew him. One of his lifetime joys was being a saxophone player with the group Sabor and Exito. His spiritual belief was Christian. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
