Francisco Dominguez

FRANK DOMINGUEZ Jr., 81, passed away on Saturday, August 25th, 2024, at his home of 50 years. He was a devoted Husband, Father & Grandfather. Frank lived his life with the outermost character, integrity, patience and was grounded by his faith and was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967, where he bravely fought in the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged in 1967. Frank received several accolades for his service, including the Navy Commendation Medal. This medal is a prestigious honor and is given to service members who go above and beyond their duties in serving our country. After his military career, he worked closely with Father Rahm & Tula Irrobali at Our Lady Youth Center, for a brief period and ultimately retired as the Director of Recreation Services at Pavo Real Recreation Center where he worked for the city of El Paso Parks and Recreation for 30 years. 

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Espy of 53 years, and his children Jessica Dominguez and David Dominguez, cherished grandchildren, Alejandro, Samantha, Taylor, Victor, Maximus, Betty and Andrew. 

Pallbearers will be Alejandro Dominguez, David Dominguez, Rafael Reynoso, Mike Vasquez, Albert Gonzalez and Christopher Dickey.

Services

Visitation: will be held on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, from 5pm to 9pm at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. 

Rosary: will take place Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at 7:00pm at. at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. 

Funeral Mass: will take place Friday, September 6th, 2024, 12:00pm at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 408 Park St. El Paso, Texas 79901 followed by,  Graveside Service, 2:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
