Francisco Burrola Jr.

Francisco Burrola Jr., 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Francisco was born in El Paso, TX. on July 31, 1934. Frank graduated from Austin High where he then attended the University of Texas at El Paso. After UTEP Frank left to proudly serve his country in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne division. Frank would later marry the love of his life in 1964, Angela Burrola. After leaving the Armed Services, Frank had an Illustrious 38-year career in Law Enforcement with both the El Paso Police Department, where he retired as a lieutenant, and with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office where he served as a Captain. Frank loved proudly serving both his country and his community. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Frank Burrola the III. Frank Leaves behind his wife of 60 years Angela Burrola, and daughter Yvonne Williamson (husband) Joseph Williamson, Grandchildren: Priscilla Martinez (husband) Daniel Martinez, Briana Reyes (husband) Oscar Reyes, Joseph T. Williamson (wife) Alexis Condo, Jacob D. Williamson, Frank Burrola IV, Brandon Burrola, Mary Burrola, and 7 Great Grand Children. Frank loved his family with every bit of his being. Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. on February 25, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil/Rosary starting at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be on February 26, 2025, at 11:30a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St., with a Committal Service following at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. at 1:00 p.m. with both Military and Police Honors.
