Francisca R. Sanchez

Francisca R. Sanchez, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of July 24, 2012. Francisca was born February 19, 1919, in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas. Matriarch of the Sanchez Family, Francisca enjoyed to laugh and loved the outdoors but raising her family was always her first priority. She was a devoted mother and friend to all who knew her. Francisca is survived by her sister Josefina Rodriguez, seven children: Elia Adame, Pilar Blakemore, Antonio Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez, Raul Sanchez, Maria Sanchez and Jose Manuel Sanchez, as well as, her forty-one grandchildren, seventy-nine great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. Family and friends surrounded Francisca at the time of her passing. She will be greatly missed and her absence deeply felt. Her devoted and loving husband Mauricio Sanchez precedes Francisca in death. Visitation will be held from 5pm – 9pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7pm, Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 11am, Friday, July 27, 2012 at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church with interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
