Francisca De Santos

Francisca A. De Santos, 90, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Francisca was born in Smeltertown, TX on October 10, 1926 to Basilio and Merced Alonzo. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Luis De Santos, whom she was married to for 65 years. Francisca was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Sabina, Juana and Catalina; brothers; Francisco, Manuel, Felix and Catalino. She is survived by her eleven children; Carlota(Douglas), Maria Luisa(Daniel), Cecilia(Alex), Luis Miguel(Estela), Jose(Margaret), Gabriel, Eduardo(Maria), Rosie, Frances(Roy), Maria and Manuel(Monique). Her 30 Grandchildren; Douglas, Genevieve, Edward, Anthony, Ana, Sandra, Martin, Magdalena, Elizabeth, Vince, Luis Miguel, Jr., Miriam, Jacob, Angelica, Victoria, Veronica, Christopher, Andrew, Julian, Jose, Esperanza, Philip, Dominic, Matthew, Felisha, Clarisa, Ashton, Cristina, Samuel and Olivia; 25 Great-Grandchildren; her twin sister, Socorro Lozano and her brothers; Luis, Alberto and Jose Alonzo. Our mother lived a long, beautiful life and filled our lives with everlasting memories. Although she will be dearly missed, she will continue to live through us in our thoughts, words and actions. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally and was very proud of all their accomplishments. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
