Francis David Brown

BROWN FRANCIS El Paso, TX, loving father and devoted husband, went to be with our Lord on January 12, 2017. Francis was born on December 13, 1963 in Augsburg Germany, and was the son of Francis Brown Sr. and Petra Brown (Cheyenne,Wyoming) . He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1986, Bachelors in Science. He worked for Homeland Security for 28 years and 6 months, where he served as Assistant director of Field Operations. His hobbies were following his Wyoming team, skiing, golfing, hiking and Bataan Death March Race. He was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church, and Kappa Sigma and Cowboy Joe Club. Francis is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years Norma Brown, and his sons David Johann Brown serving in the Air Force at RAF Mildenhall, Randy Taylor Brown of Laramie Wyoming where he attends the University of Wyoming. His siblings include sisters, Donna Homkes-Brown and Nacie Rowe. His brother Frank Brown and four nieces and one nephew. Loyal, Honest and Loving are some of the words that have been used to describe Francis’ personality. Many of his friends loved him and considered him a part of their family. His personality had an inviting atmosphere that drew people to him. Family was a priority in his life and he laid down a strong foundation for his sons. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd.
