Florencio Martin

Florencio "Lencho" Martin age 67, and native of El Paso, joined the Lord in heaven on Sunday, February 22, 2009. He was a loving husband to his wife, Rosa A. Martin; a devoted father to his children, Adan Martin, Sarah Flores & Norma Pfeiffer; an affectionate grandfather to Kane Martin, Crystal Flores, David Flores, Jacob Flores, Jessey James Pfeiffer and Joaquin Joe Pfeiffer. He was a loving son to Candelaria & Jesus Martin (deceased); a loyal brother to Alfonso Martin Sr., Gloria Solis, Ricardo Martin, Sr. & Celia Miranda; a proud uncle of numerous nephews & nieces. Lencho has dedicated 31 years of Civil Service at Fort Bliss, White Sands Missile Range, and retired from Dept of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization in El Paso. His passion was softball and drag racing. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home – Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers; Salvador Aguilar, Jacob Flores, Jesus Martin, Juan Jose Martin, Rene Miranda, Jesse Vigil, Honorary Pallbearers; Ramiro Solis, Rafael Solis.
