Fernando Fraire, 64, passed away February 2, 2024. Fernie was born in East Los Angeles, CA on May 30, 1959, to his parents Humberto Rutilio and Juanita Fraire. He was raised in El Paso, TX in a family of 6 siblings.
Fernie graduated from Austin High School, then worked in his father's welding business and eventually began his successful career as a General Contractor. At a young age, he married the love of his life, Delia Segura, and had four beautiful children. Owners of D&F Fraire Inc., Fernie and Delia successfully managed many construction projects in Fort Bliss, McGregor Range, El Paso, TX and surrounding areas. 44 years of marriage, together they faced many blessed times as well as tragic times. Through it all, their love for each other not once faded.
Fernie is proceeded in death by his children, Linda Rose, Fernando Jr., JoAnna Francisca and Michael Paul, his parents Humberto Rutilio and Juanita and sister Guadalupe. He is survived by his loving wife, Delia Fraire, his brother Humberto Fraire, his sisters Bertha Alicia Laboy, Maria Theresa Fraire, Alice Muñoz (David), Linda Patricia Ramirez (Alfredo) and Juanita Alvarez (Hector).
Honorary Pallbearers: Byron Segura, Ruby Fraire, Francisco Rubalcava, Adam Wilcox son, Alfredo Ramirez and Raymond Jackson.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama Street. Committal Service to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery 4848 Alps Drive. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Please visit his online memorial at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
