Fernando Castaneda

Fernando passed away on April 30, 2017 at the age of 62. He is survived by wife Rosemary; sisters, Elvia Valdez and Carmen Acosta; 2 nephews, a niece, several extended family members and many friends. He graduated from Irvin High School in 1974, served 3 years in the U.S. Air Force then went to work for the El Paso Electric Company from which he retired after 37 years. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
