Felix Solis

Felix Solis, 85, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elena P. Solis; his children, Annabelle Betancourt (Alfonso), David Solis (Patsy), Stephanie Solis and grandson Patrick Solis. He is also survived by his brothers, Aristeo Solis, Reymundo Solis and sister Mary Paz as well his brothers and sisters in-law, and his nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Santiaga Solis; brothers Frank, Gregorio and Reynaldo Solis and sister Carolina Carmona. Felix was a lifelong resident of San Elizario, Texas, a member of the Catholic Church, served in the United States Army and was the owner of Felix Grocery and Market for many years. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be from 4:00p.m.-9:00p.m., with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday November 13, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. Funeral Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday November 14, 2012 at San Elizario Catholic Church , located at 1556 San Elizario Rd., Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Family to serve as pallbearers.
