Felipe Nolasco

Felipe Nolasco 86 passed away peacefully on December 29, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 30, 1925 in Tornillo, TX. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was a long time resident of Sunland Park, NM. Active member of the San Martin de Porres Church. He retired as a Warehouse Supervisor. He was an avid handyman having built his own home and always ready to lend a helping hand to his family and others. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lorenza Nolasco; sisters Paz and Maria; brothers Ramon and Candelario; and great granddaughter Ilyanna. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Nolasco of 62 years; sons; Felipe (Sylvia), Luis (Julieta), Francisco (Gabriela), Nacho (Sharon), Jaime (Ana Luisa), and daughters Lucy (Jaime Marquez) and Dolores (Armando Troncoso). Twenty-four grandchildren; Gianna, Felipe J, Luis Demetrio, Johnny, Melanie, Frankie, Gabriel, Jamie, Danny, Vanessa, James, Iris, Janis, Valerie, Levi, Westley, Alejandro, Mando, Jamiee, Daniella, Alyson, Samuel, Brianna, Mia and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation: 5:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church.
