Felipa Hernandez

Felipa Hernandez, beloved mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, passed to be with the Lord on August 2, 2008. Felipa was born in Mexico on February 5, 1942. She proudly became a U.S. citizen and made El Paso her home and later moved to La Union, New Mexico. She was a proud housewife who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a lover of animals and the countryside. Although her illness of many years took a toll on her body, she always had a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Teodoro Hernandez. She is survived by her daughter Luz Villarreal, her sons Jose Luis and Teodoro Hernandez Jr., her son-in-law Victor Villarreal, daughters in-law Linda and Socorro Hernandez and her eight grandchildren, Jose, Esteban, Daniel, Ted and Josh Hernandez and Alexandra, Victor Jr., and Diego Villarreal. Visitation is from 5-8 pm., Monday, August 4, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am., Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in the Chapel of Remembrance at Sunset Funeral Homes-West.
