Federico Gallegos

Federico “Freddy“ Gallegos, 79, was born in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. He passed away on October 5, 2008 in El Paso. Federico was a resident of El Paso, TX and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Gallegos worked for the Department of Defense for over 38 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carmen Sigala; and sister, Migdalia Gallegos. Survived by son, Federico Gallegos, Jr.; sister, Jesusita Gallegos; brother, Victor Gallegos; grandchildren, Armando, Alex, Jennifer, and Carmen Gallegos; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed. Visitation: 4:00 to 9:00 pm, with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass to begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National with Military Honors.
