Fannie Mae Wells, 71 of El Paso, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 28, 2012. She was born May 13, 1941 at One Creek Valley, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bill and Zella Forsyth; husband, Walton “Sonny” Wells; and sisters, Helen Linney and Mima Jo Forsyth. She is survived by her son, Walton (Tina) Wells and daughter, Darla (Eric) Evans. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Shane and Dustin Wells and David and Sara Evans. She is also survived by her sisters, Joy Powers, Mary Dickens, and brothers, Glenn Forsythe and Robert Morgan. Fannie had numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Fannie graduated high school in Las Cruces, NM and met the love of her life, Sonny Wells, soon they were married. She had three beautiful children, and later four grandchildren, who she adored. Fannie was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved greatly, and will be missed by all her knew her. Fannie is now with her family who have gone on to be with “Jesus”. We love you, our dear sweet “Fannie Mae”. Funeral Service 9:45am, Thursday, July 5 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Graveside service to follow at 11:00 am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are as follows: Shane and Dustin Wells, David Evans, Arlin and Brandon Powers and Jerry Gough.
