Evelia Torres Munoz

Evelia T. Muñoz Our beautiful mom, Evelia T. Muñoz and loving wife of Francisco A. Muñoz passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, July 1, 2012. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Evelia was born September 17, 1929. Survivors include her husband, Francisco, their children, Martha M. Mercereau (James), Roberto Muñoz, Norma M. Olivas (Raul) and Cecilia M. Deardorff (Alan), one child, Mary Ann Muñoz having passed as an infant. Grandchildren in abundance include; James, Alexander, Jonathan, and Nicole Mercereau, Amy Bushmire, Joni, Gabriel, and Robert Muñoz Jr., Jessica Hartley, Brian and Fred Zeh III. Great-grandchildren of the Mercereau clan include, Caitlin, Cassidi, Anberlyn, Zaidyn, Benjamin, Amelie, Aubrie and Ethan. The Muñoz, clan includes Robert Joseph, Corina, Noah, Dominic, Cain, Zade (deceased), Elijah, and Shelby. The Zeh great-grandchildren include Diego and Mateo. Her sisters are Enriqueta Duran, Hortencia Sanchez, Amelia Martinez and Ramona Macias (deceased). We were so blessed to have a loving mother and a loving devoted wife. We will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm 9:00 pm with a vigil at 7:00 pm, Friday July 6th , 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 7th 2012 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1700 George Dieter. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at 8700 Dyer in Northeast El Paso. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
