Eva Mary Watts, 90, Eva Mary Cartwright Watts. 2/3/1927 – 12/30/1217. Valedictorian, fiddler, bowler (>1 600 series!), puzzle-solver extraordinaire, and sharp-witted with a penchant for unexpected zingers. She loved her dogs and cats, her backyard garden, her gluten-free beer and her extensive collection of anything frog-related. Music was in her blood, and she was part of a VFW combo. She enjoyed her grandkids immensely, and would fascinate them by standing on her head and watching scary movies with them.
Born in El Paso, reared in Grenville, NM and Douglas, AZ, she moved to El Paso in the late 1940s where she married and raised a family. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Bill Otis and her cherished grandson Arik. She is survived by her two sons, Ernie and Mark, grandchildren Will, Betsy, Katie, Dustin, Ashley and Lauren, great-granddaughter Zoey, daughters-in-law Stephanie, Sue, Joyce, Juanita and Lesha, and her long-time companion and care-giver Irma Marin. Always ready with a welcoming smile, loved by many, she will be sorely missed.
