Eva Springer

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Eva Springer departed on Sept 15, 2018. She left her loving children: Debra D. Springer, Cathy Springer (Fernie Lopez), Teresa Springer Engle. Grandchildren: David and Melanie Engle, Angelique and Dominique Sotelo; Jennifer, Paul, and Daniel Springer. Her great grandchildren: Adein Sotelo and Gabriella Engle. She joins in death her beloved husband George J. Springer, two sons, George J. Springer M.D., Ronald Springer, two Grandsons Georgie J. III and Andrew Springer. Despite all the tragic loss, she relied on her Catholic faith daily. She was an avid sports fan and could run the table at Texas Hold’em poker. She was a gracious hostess and amazing chef at home, always welcoming of family and friends to enjoy her famous chile verde and traditional Christmas brisket. She was eternally devoted to her husband George J. Springer, who came on their 62nd Wedding anniversary to carry up to her heavenly home at “The George’s.” Visitation 5:00pm - 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Our Lady of Assumption, 4805 Byron Street. Committal Service to follow at 12:30pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
