Eva W. Jones

Eva W. Jones, longtime resident of El Paso, passed away on April 20th, 2018 at the age of 79. Eva Diane Witherspoon was born in El Paso, TX on July 11, 1938. She grew up in El Paso and attended and graduated from Austin High School. Eva worked at Standard Oil of Texas where she met her husband, Charles Jones. They married on March 17, 1962 and shared 56 years together. Eva is survived by her husband, Charles; her three daughters, Mikki Butler of El Paso, Peggy Vera, of Prosper, TX and Marri Nadeau, of Truth or Consequences, NM; seven grandchildren: Christopher Lannutti, Matthew Vera, Elizabeth Lovitz, Emma Butler, Molly Butler, Megann Vera and Hannah Butler; and three great-granddaughters: Roselyn, Anna Lee and Goldie Lannutti. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary beginning at 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:15am on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Raphael Church. Committal Service will follow at 10:30am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
