Eusebio Villagrana

Eusebio Villagrana, 93, passed away peacefully at home in Sunland Park, NM surrounded by his family. On June 28, 2012, he joined his wife and beloved son in heaven. Born to Bonifacio and Carlota in 1918 in Nayarit, Mexico, he lived in the U.S. for 30 years. In those 30 years he touched many hearts in the Catholic Church, the public schools, and within his family. He was a devout member of the San Martin de Porres Church choir for 10 years where he played guitar. He worked as a Foster Grandparent for Sunland Park Elementary for 18 years. Special thanks to the Concilio CDS, Inc., Sunland Park Elementary, Las Palmas Hospital, Vinton Clinic, Altomar, Ambercare Hospice, and everyone else who allowed us to have more precious time with him. He is survived by his son Jose, his daughter in law Manuela, 5 grandchildren Bertha, Gracie, Daniel, Anita, and Josie, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandson. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9: 00 pm, Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 2, 2012 at San Martin De Porras Catholic Church, Sunland Park, NM. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
