Eudelio W. Reyes “Lalo” , 69 born Dec. 3, 1938 passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 13, 2008 with his wife at his side. Lalo was born in Raymondville, Texas where he became an accomplished High School football player. Later moving to Alpine, Texas where he quickly built a reputation for his playing skills. While residing in Alpine, Lalo met the love of his life Nora Hernandez, they married on May 12, 1958. Lalo served in the U.S. Army, and upon completion of service began working at White Sands Missile Range where he retired after 25 years of service as Chief of Telemetry Data Center. After retiring Lalo dedicated himself to service with the Sisters of San Juan, Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, St. Anthony’s Seminary and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He readily offered his time and talents. Lalo was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Nora; his children, Adan, Gilbert, Fay, Gabriel, and Michael; 13 grandchildren, and 15 siblings. He was much loved, and his laughter and personality will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Wednesday. September 17, 2008 at Monastery of Perpetual Adoration at 145 N. Cotton. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
