Ethel I. Clark

Ethel I. Clark, born on a small farm in Estill Springs, Tennessee, on August 6, 1919, passed away on October 17, 2010 . Her husband Andrew and son Charles Clark preceded her in death. Ethel and Andy were married January 10, 1942 and crisscrossed the country from Fairbanks, Alaska to Sumter, South Carolina while in the United States Air Force, retired from the Air Force in Utah and finally settled in El Paso, Texas. Ethel is survived by her companion of 35 years, Cecil Moore, son Earl( Rose),grand daughter Katherin Basurto (Charles), grandson Kenneth Clark, and great-grandchilred Jackson and Bailey Basurto. Ethel was a lifetime member of the NCO Wives Club at Fort Bliss, where she held various positions. Her passion was playing pinochle. Visistation will be on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Tx. Funeral Services will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, El Paso, Texas.
