LUSSIER, ESPERANZA (ESPY) AGE 63, of El Paso, entered the Kingdom of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. A loving mother, wife daughter, sister and friend to all she knew. She will be greatly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her father, Francisco Heredia Sr., son Richard Lussier, and husband Maurice A. Lussier as well as a brother and sister. She is survived by her daughter Becky Gutierrez (Hector) and son Raymond Lussier (Angela). She will now be a guardian to her grandchildren Noah A. Gutierrez, Ray Lussier Jr., and Madison R. Lussier. She was a second mom to Marlene Orozco (Raul) and grandmother to Dominique, Crystal, and Raul Jr. She leaves behind her mother, Maximina Heredia, sisters Adelina and Eva and brothers Guillermo, Alberto and Francisco Jr., as well as nephews and nieces. Her faith in God will live in all of us and know that we will all be together again someday. Espy met Maurice in early 1960’s and together they were not only husband and wife but they were best friends. They ventured together in businesses such as taxi driving and restaurant owners. She would accompany him on his over the trips while working as a bus driver. Mom and Dad taught their children that family is the most important value in life. Family trips and adventures across the states was nothing new to the Lussier family. This continues with the children now as well. Not only was she a housewife she also sold Home Interior and was very talented making floral arrangements. Her husband taught her the knowledge and strength to be independent and never hesitate to work in helping others. She was a fighter who loved life and her family. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her as her friends of more than 25 years, Rachel Aguirre and family and Sara Padilla and family. Prayer Service will be Sunday January 27, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-East 750 N. Carolina Dr. at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, January 28, 2008 at LifeGate Church 10555 Edgemere Blvd at 8:00a.m. and she will be laid to rest at 9:30a.m. Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with her husband Maurice. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home East.
