Ernesto "Juanito" Hernandez

ERNESTO BARROZO HERNANDEZ “JUANITO” passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 91, surrounded by his children and family. He was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on November 7, 1925. He fought the good fight with complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was longtime resident of Sunland Park, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents Nazaria Barrozo and Luis Hernandez, his son Juanito Hernandez, his siblings; Francisco Hernandez, Eliseo Hernandez, Lupe Hernandez Molinar and Cruz Hernandez. He is survived by his children; Graciela Hernandez, Jose Hernandez (Annie), Tony Hernandez (Aurora), Ernesto Hernandez Jr. (Laura), Jaime Hernandez (Iben), Patricia Hernandez (Laura), Gilbert Hernandez (Lori), his brother Albert H. Ortiz (Lydia), his sister Teresa Hernandez Yang (Wan Ling), 26 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00AM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
