Eric Scott Scheil

Eric Scott Scheil passed away on June 10, 2022 at the age of 61.

Eric was born and raised in Morris, Minnesota the youngest child of Vern and Bertha (Boos) Scheil.  He graduated from the UofM Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

Eric started his career in Austin, Minnesota in 1984 and moved to El Paso in 1993 to begin a 27 year career as a pharmacist at Las Palmas Medical Center.

He is survived by special friend Mary Kelly and her family, his brothers David and Rick (Deb),

Nieces and Nephews – David, Michele, Robin, Peter, Lindsey, Anna, Sara and John, 13 great nieces and nephews, and Bonnie Scheil. Predeceased by his parents and sister Sandra (Bill).  

Eric had amazing friends in El Paso, Minnesota, Germany and across the United States.  Friends and family all know of his love for college sports, skiing, music, traveling, talking, games, and swimming in his pool.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 Saturday, June 25^th at Sunset Funeral Home-West.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your local Hospice.  Please visit his online memorial at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.  An additional celebration will be held in Minnesota at a later date.
