Enrique P. Lopez

Enrique P. Lopez passed away at the age of 82 on December 4, 2020. He was born in El Paso, Tx. on March 24, 1938. He attended Bowie High School where he was a Star Athlete in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track. He was a very good Husband, Dad, Uncle, Brother and Friend. We all have very good memories of him while we were growing up. He didn't bring us up with luxuries, but he gave us lots of love, attention and happiness. He was a very hard worker since the age of childhood, which his father; Rutilo Lopez, enhanced that on his sons. Enrique is preceded in death by his wife; Martha G. Lopez, son; Benjamin Lopez, Grandson; Frankie Reyna Jr., Great-Grandson; Matthew Rey Perez and all his loved ones. Enrique is survived by his companion; Rosa Gutierrez, his daughters; Martha Lopez, Lidia Rivas, Lilia Avila (George), Ida Reyna, Trina Ceniceros (Armando), Lorraine Arteaga (Raul) and sons; Javier (Terry), Enrique Jr. (Lorraine), Gilbert (Lucy) and Ruben (Melissa). He is also survived by his brothers; Rutilo Lopez Jr., Francisco Lopez, Joe Sierra and Marvin Martin and sisters; Socorro Sosa, Mary Stearne, Deborah Pacheco (Martin) and Jennifer Silvers. He has 33 Grandkids and 39 Great-Grandkids. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and other family members. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18th, 2020 from 2-5 PM with a rosary at 3 PM and a mass at 3:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 N. Loop Dr. Burial will be at 10 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
