Emilia Saenz Gardea

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Emilia Saenz Gardea, age 72, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2023. Emilia was born and raised in La Union, NM. She had called El Paso her home for the last 50 years. She is survived by her children; Violet Henderson (Donald), Veronica Ruiz (Juan Manuel), and Victor Saenz; her siblings; Tomas Hernandez, Ramon Saenz, Paula Saenz, Blanca Saenz, Marisol Saenz, Rebecca Saenz and Federico Saenz; her grandchildren; April Diego (Gabriel), Elyzabeth Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, Levi Henderson, Samuel Saenz, Samantha Saenz, Selma Saenz, Jesus Antonio Barreno, Alejandro Barreno, Angel Barreno, and her great-grandchildren; Alan Zaragoza and Mateo Diego. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All of whom will miss her greatly.  

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home- West, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the La Union Cemetery in La Union, NM, at 2 pm.
