Elvira A.Lopez, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2007. Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 7pm, Sunday August 5, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm, Monday, August 6, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Lopez. She is survived by son, Victor Lopez; daughter, Virginia (Jesse Cruz) Lopez; brother, Rev. Gilberto Alvarado; and sisters, Lupe Ruiz, Chita Hernandez, and Gloria Rangel; grandchildren: Manny and Clarissa Cruz; and great grandchild, Ethan Cruz.
