Elvira Felix

Elvira Felix Gonzalez, 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Elvira was born in El Paso, Texas on September 25, 1939. She attended Jefferson High School and went on to join the local work force working several jobs which included housekeeping and restaurant line cook. Elvira would later marry the love of her life in 1969, Margarito Felix.  

Elvira enjoyed spending time and been surrounded by family and friends; fishing, playing bingo, cards, dominos. She loved spending time at La Victoria Adult Day Care and at the Casino.

Elvira is preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Felix, her parents, Jose Manuel Gonzalez and Mariana Acuna and all her siblings. She is survived by her children; Danny Ochoa, Mariana Gonzales, Helen Felix, Francisca Felix Figueroa, and Christine Garcia; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service Times:

Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday January 9, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Homes – East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Santo Nino De Atocha Catholic Church, 210 S. Clark.
