Elvira A. Cortez, 85, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by husband Eloy Cortez. Survived by son Roberto Cortez, daughter-in-law Veronica Cortez and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with Vigil Services at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Mt. Carmel (Old Mission) Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas.
