Elvia Zavala

Our precious and inspiring Elvia Zavala passed away peacefully on August 17, 2011. Elvia touched every heart of every human being who knew her. Her humble, loving, and caring nature was always steady and never wavered. She had a positive outlook on life and always found the good in everyone and everything. Many of us will be lost without her, though her wishes are for us to rejoice with her. She graduated from Jefferson H.S., UTEP and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking SMU. Elvia was a Sr. VP at United Bank of El Paso del Norte. Left to cherish her memory Parents: Jesus Jose and Emma Zavala. Siblings: Gilbert+ (Peggy), Linda, Jesus Jr., Sylvia+, Rudy, Grace (Neto), Norma, David, Robert (Martha), Fernie (Lily), Danny, Godson Luke and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. “I have been blessed with good friends, good people in my life and a wonderful family.” She expressed gratitude to Dr. Panagiotis Valilis, Dr. Teresa Reed and staff for going above and beyond. Thanks to the staff at Odyssey (Victoria, Terry, Amanda, Fred). Family would like to thank her many caring friends, especially Jo Ann Brock, Jim McVay and Julian Herrera. Visitation: 6–7p.m. on August 24, 2011, with Rosary following, at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass: 10a.m., August 25, 2011, at Our Lady of the Light, Delta.
