She was a longtime resident of El Paso and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by loving husband, Alex Carbajal; son, Alex Brooks, Jr.; daughter, Ruth Brooks; 2 Grandchildren; Mother, Bertha Alicia Loera; Brother, Enrique Loera; Sisters, Maria Valenzuela and Connie Moreno.
