Elodia G. Aguiñaga, age 75, wife of the late Pastor Jose Antonio Aguiñaga of La Viña del Señor, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. She was born September 5, 1933, in Juarez, Mexico to the late Gumercindo and Martiniana Grajeda. When she relocated to El Paso there she met her future husband whose was stationed in Fort Bliss. Reverend and Mrs. Aguiñaga were co-founders and served the Lord as Pastors at La Viña del Señor for 32 years. There she strived to help people and guide them in their walk with God. Many people in the community were blessed by her ministry and will forever be grateful to her and her lovely husband for all their love and sacrifice. She was a devoted wife and mother. She taught her children the importance of love, hard work and responsibility. From cooking to building Godly homes her efforts live on through her children. Today her hands continue to love, support, build and preach through her offspring. She will forever remain alive in the hearts of both her immediate and church family. She is survived by her six children, sons and their wives Jose and Laura, Rodolfo and Eva, and Jorge and Ninfa, daughters and their husbands Rosalinda and Pedro Terrazas, Elizabeth and Carlos Hernandez and Sara and Antonio Rivera, twenty-one grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 23, 2008 and 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow to Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast.
