Elizabeth B. Casas

Elizabeth “Bonnie” Casas 
October 21st, 1946 – August 11, 2023

Loving wife, mother, and grandmother was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on August 11th, 2023. Bonnie was born on October 21st, 1946, in El Paso, Texas to Jessie V. Schroeder. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Casas, her mother, Jessie V. Schroeder, and son in law Jay Bryant. Bonnie is survived by her four children, Carrie Lynn, James Joseph, Daniel Jay, and Cathy Jo (Dave), 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who will continue to honor and treasure her memory. 

Bonnie started her professional journey at El Paso Community College as a work study and proudly obtained her BA and master’s degree. After 30 years of dedication, she retired as EPCC Registrar.  

She would say her greatest accomplishment was her family. She always encouraged, supported, protected, and loved her family and friends. She embodied what a wonderful human being, mother, wife, and friend should be. 

Her smile, laughter, and warm hugs will be missed but her memory will live on and be cherished forever.
