Elizabeth C. Beasley

Elizabeth C. Beasley, 85, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Mesilla Valley Hospice, La Posada. She was born on November 19, 1925 on a farm near Tipton, Kansas. She worked as a book-keeper for Hilton Hotels and later for Dewitt & Rearick/Genpart, Corp. in El Paso, Tx. She is survived by two children: Deborah Ruebush of Pearland, Texas and Robert Beasley of Las Cruces, New Mexico; two brothers: Don and Ray Moritz of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Laura Conroy of Littleton, Colorado also survive her; she has four grandchildren: Christopher Ruebush of Austin, Texas, Tamara Ruebush of Shenzen, Guangdong, China, Bronwyn and Liam Beasley of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and one great grandchild, Elizabeth Marie Ruebush of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Christina Moritz of Tipton, Kansas; her brother Robert of Beloit, Kansas; and her husband of 50 years, Henry O. Beasley, Jr. of El Paso, Texas.Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday February 25, 2011 at 9:30 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Services Entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
